The Greyhaven Files

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 9 August 2026 · Last updated: 9 August 2026

Summary: The Greyhaven Files is an offline game. It has no accounts, advertising, analytics, or tracking and does not transmit gameplay or save data off your device.

Who we are

This policy applies to The Greyhaven Files, provided by independent developer Murat Çakır (“we”). Privacy questions can be sent to mrtckr.developer@gmail.com.

Data handled by the game

The game stores save slots, language choice, and audio preferences locally on your device. This information is used only to provide game progress and settings. It is not transmitted to us or shared with third parties.

The game does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or advertising identifier. It contains no advertising, analytics SDK, social login, in-app purchase, or user account system.

Retention and deletion

Local save data remains on your device until you delete a save from the Load Game screen, clear the app’s data where supported, or uninstall the app. Because this data never reaches us, we cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.

Support messages

If you contact support, your email address and the information you choose to send are processed by the email services used by you and us. We use them only to answer and resolve your request, retain them only as long as reasonably needed for support or legal obligations, and do not sell them. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us.

Children and international users

The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Its fictional murder mystery may not be suitable for young children; storefront age ratings provide the applicable guidance in each region.

Changes

If the game’s data practices change, this policy and the relevant store privacy disclosures will be updated before the new practices are introduced.
